Sciensano assesses the risks posed by chemical substances, non-infectious biological and physical agents present in the environment, food, consumables, medicines and health products. In this context, Sciensano studies their presence, their toxicity and their concentrations. We then compare these data with consumption and/or health data to assess the potential risks and their consequences for public health. (source: sciensano)
The current programme of the visit includes:
    - A presentation about Sciensano,
    - An overview of their activities concerning the department chemical and physical health risks,
    - A tour in the laboratories.
